Some events are not quite as much fun as it seems....or are they?

Doesn't it look like Annaka is having so much fun? 

This was our local new years party. Annaka was not thrilled to be riding the horse, and she did not even want to ride the camel. 

And, it was a bit strange that everywhere around here thinks Santa and a weird mouse creature #1 belong together and #2 are at a new years party? Yes, our neighbor said 'santa' appears up through New Years. 

Kind of strange for a culture/society that does not really celebrate Christmas. 

At least the evening ended more fun getting to hang out with friends/neighbors....kids chasing each other and having fun. We took Annaka home early to get to bed. She was upset she was missing the community kids dance party so we had a mini 5 minute one in our living room....at 9pm. :)
