Introducing Bennett and Emberlynn

Introducing the newest members or our Bauman family. They arrived very quickly early Saturday, February 2, 2013.

Bennett Leo Bauman, born 4:01am 6lbs 1oz 18 1/2 inches long.

Emberlynn Elora Bauman, born 4:04am 5lbs 10oz 19 1/2 inches long.



Birth Story coming in the next post, but here are some pictures of the first week and a half of life:)

After the NICU was done assessing Bennett, they brought him to me for a quick greeting and kisses before he was whisked upstairs with his sister to the NICU.

Emberlynn "In her machine" as Annaka says it. She took a large gulp of fluid just before delivery, therefore they helped her breath a bit until it cleared out.

Bennett Stretching out. I am sure he is thankful for the space.

Again, Bennett enjoys stretching out in the warmer bed.

Emberlynn likes to stretch out in the warm bed too while nurses work on getting her IV in.

Emberlynn is our snuggler. She LOVES to be held and will cuddle up if you get close to her.

These next two pictures are some of my favorites showing 'personality'! :)

They are required to drink at least two bottles a day of special extra calorie formula. Bennett decided to help hold Emberlynn's bottle.
